Are You A Fit?

Are We the Right Team for Your Goals? Not every advisor is right for everyone. Here’s how we ensure the perfect fit.

Many people searching for a retirement financial advisor understand that the vetting process works both ways.

We’re here to help guide you through the potential risks and challenges of retirement—or, as we like to call it, life’s longest vacation.

We work exclusively with individuals who value our advice and experience, and who are seeking competent, professional management.

To ensure a strong partnership,

Here are the qualifications for becoming a client:

step-1-dm

You are coachable, open-minded, and seeking professional financial management for your retirement.

step-2-dm

You have $1 million or more in investable assets (e.g., 401(k), IRA, brokerage accounts, business sale proceeds, or cash savings) and are ready for us to create a personalized plan.

step-3-dm

You are engaged and committed—keeping appointments and responding to our correspondence in a timely manner.

step-4-dm

You value long-term, disciplined investing over chasing short-term trends.

step-5-dm

You avoid making emotional investment decisions based on news cycles or political developments.

Alternatively, if you have under $1 million in assets or are a DIY investor seeking a second opinion, we offer one-time planning sessions for a flat fee. We can also connect you with outside advisors who can support you throughout your retirement journey.

Explanation of How We Charge Our Services From Ken Clark, President

You’ve worked hard and put in the time to get where you are today. That’s why you deserve individual attention from a highly qualified planning team throughout your retirement.

Because of our in-depth planning process and commitment to personalized service, we only take on a limited number of new clients each year. We do not accept new clients simply for the sake of growing our firm—we value quality over quantity.

Initial Engagement Fee

This one-time fee reflects the time and expertise our advisors and support team invest in creating your personalized financial plan during the onboarding process. The fee varies based on the complexity of your situation and the scope of work required, and you’ll receive a clear quote before deciding to move forward.

Ongoing Investment
Advisory Fee

We charge an annual, percentage-based fee on the portion of your assets that we manage in the publicly traded stock and bond markets.

Fees For Our Insurance Solutions

Many of our clients place a portion of their retirement portfolio into insurance solutions that offer guarantees—such as lifetime income or protection from stock market downturns.

Rather than charging you a commission or advisory fee to implement these solutions, we are compensated directly by the insurance company. The fees you pay to the insurance company will vary depending on the specific solution, but many of the options we recommend have low—or even no—annual fees.

A Note on Transparency

Because we provide a highly personalized planning process, the information above is intended as a general overview of our core fees—not an exhaustive list. At the beginning of your onboarding process, you’ll receive a detailed explanation of all costs associated with your investments, advisory services, and insurance solutions. You’ll also be provided with all industry-required disclosures to ensure complete transparency.
